The necklace features sterling silver disks with different surface textures, arranged in a drop as ordered by my client.

What has changed compared with the design brief, is the finish of the necklace. I decided that polished silver did not show off the surface texture enough.

So I oxidised the pieces and polished them. I would describe the result as gunmetal grey.

I hope the lady who ordered it will like the finish.

If not, the oxidisation can be removed very quickly. Simply heat up the metal and burn it away. It leaves the silver clean as it was before oxidisation.
