Like quite a few other ladies, I love my handbags.

I decided to get some genuine one-off specials and to make my own. In fact I made two.

Using my own photographs of trees and mosses printed on cotton, I made a large bag with a metal handle. Stiffener at the bottom keeps it spread out and displays my photographic skills.

Number two combines different wax prints to make this roomy special with shoulder handles. The body is folded to give added structure and to allow me to play with the printed design.

This bag was so comfortable and useful that I made variations of it for a number of friends. None of them complained.
